The Yankees' Gatorade Player of the game, N.Odendahl, pitched two more solid innings and rang up two key hits for the Yankees. B.Dsida, C.Regan and D.Smith also had solid base hits for the Yankees.

The Yankees finally went down in the bottom of the seventh with runners in scoring postion and the tying run on deck. The Yankees' Gatorade Player of the Game, C.Regan, who rang up two hits, scored three runs and displayed polished skills at short stop. After the game he said, "it was a tough loss, but the Yankees are due for a W next week ...and so are the Bears!"

GAME HIGHLIGHTS: The game was much closer than the score indicated. The Yankees left a total of 12 runners on base. A couple of key hits could have turned the game around. A strong performance at the plate was turned in by D. Smith, who hit a single and long double that scored three runs; B. Heinz, who reached base three times with two singles and a fielder's choice; D. Brody, who crushed a single to right field and was robbed of extra bases, and C. Regan, who went two-for-three with two singles. Missing from our line-up was S.Tilson, our power hitter, whose bat, speed and solid fielding was greatly missed.
On the mound, we again received strong pitching performances from N.Odenthal, who pitched two stellar innings and C. Regan, who mowed the batters down. The team is looking forward to getting back on the winning track this weekend with the return of Coach Tilson and his inspirational and motivational coaching!

The Yankees' infield was absolutely superb, the finest I've seen in any Fall Ball game this year. You Yankees have put in a lot of work, and it really shows. Congratulations on such an intelligently and well-played game!

GAME HIGHLIGHTS: In the battle of the Yankees, the Ken-Winn 4 Yankees defeated the Glenview 2 Yankees 12-5 in a slugfest. C.Regan, S.Tilson, N.Odendahl, B.Dsida and D.Brody each contributed two solid hits to power the Ken-Winn Yankees to their fourth victory. The play of the day came in the fifth inning when J.Knott threw out C.Regan at first from left field. Unfortunately, he was playing the field for the Glenview Yankees at the time! All in all, another great all-around performance by Ken-Winn 4.
