On Sunday, June 16th, the Lincolnwood Mariners forfeited their fourth game of the season, thus making them ineligible for the double-elimination tournament. See Local Rule 3M.

On Monday, June 17th, the Skokie Youth White Sox forfeited their fourth game of the season, thus making them ineligible for the double-elimination tournament.

NOTE: Please see the explanations page for the tie-breaker formula. There were two pairs of teams with identical records:

  • The Skokie Indians Phantoms tied with the Morton Grove Cardinals with 17 points each. The Phantoms are a National League team and the Cardinals are an American league team. As a result, they never played each other, so their seedings were subject to a coin toss. The Morton Grove Cardinals lost the coin toss and were seeded 8.

  • The Skokie Youth Cardinals and the Skokie Youth Diamondbacks tied with 14 points each. They are both American League teams and had played each other twice. On June 07 the Skokie Youth Cardinals slaughtered the Skokie Youth Diamondbacks 16-6. On June 16 the Skokie Youth Diamondbacks slaughtered the Skokie Youth Cardinals by the same margin, with the score 14-4. The Skokie Youth Diamondbacks lost the coin toss and were seeded 11.
