GAME HIGHLIGHTS: After five innings, the score was tied 3-3. Adler pitched four strong innings, giving up only one earned run. MG White Sox played an all around good game, throwing out SY Diamondback runners on a big play at third (call up player Adler) and getting Block out at the plate to end a fifth inning rally. Berg threw three strong innings to seal the victory. |

GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Both teams played very well. The Edgebrook-Sauganash Giants got off to an early lead behind a Van Leur home run. Then the tables turned and the Morton Grove White Sox took advantage of the Giants' mistakes. They looked like they could come back until Giants' catcher Litton heroically gunned down a runner at second base to stop the Sox run. The White Sox looked like they could come back again in the bottom of the seventh until Mijatovich came in and saved the game to secure the Giants' victory. |

GAME HIGHLIGHTS: This was an exciting game that ended up a 12-12 tie after eight innings. The Morton Grove White Sox built a 11-4 lead after four. The Morton Grove Cardinals came to life after a three-run bomb by Lewis. Lewis also came in to relive Hagopian after he did not have his good stuff today. Lewis pitched five innings and gave up one run. He struck out nine White Sox. Lewis got Hively to pop up with the bases loaded in the eighth to get out the jam. |
