RAIN OUTS AND HOTLINES: Inclement weather can be unpredictable. You should always assume that you are going to play. Umpires and coaches are strongly encouraged to get games in if it can be done safely. Games will generally not be canceled prior to one hour before game time. Managers should inform players that if there is doubt about field conditions, they should not call the manager, but, instead, they should wait for the manager to call them and that if they don't hear from the manager, go to the ballpark on the assumption the game will be played. Most sponsoring Communities have a "hot line" telephone number from which official information about field conditions sometimes may be obtained. Please share these phone numbers with your players!!

EDGEBROOK-SAUGANASH (WILDWOOD AND PROSEL #1)

The Chicago Park District does not provide a rainout hotline, and Lincolnwood is, well, Lincolnwood..
We encourage managers, coaches, parents and players
to go to Wildwood and evaluate conditions once they arrive.

GOLF MAINE (DEE PARK)

MORTON GROVE (PRAIRIE VIEW)

SKOKIE INDIANS (CENTRAL PARK WEST)

The Skokie Park District does have a rainout hotline.
But we're not revealing it here.
All too often the park district claims a diamond is not playable when, in fact, it is.
We encourage managers, coaches, parents and players to go to Central Park West.
It is the two managers' decision to make as to whether the diamond is playable.
